Born 1958 in Šiauliai.

Graduated from the Vilnius Engineering Institute (now Technical University) in 1984.

Since 1990 - lecturer in Vilnius Academy of Art. Since 1997 he is a head of Photography and Media Arts Department (until 2000 Photography and Video Art Department). 

Since 2007 - Professor.

Member of Lithuanian photographers' union.

Works owned by private collectors in Lithuania and abroad.
