About the work
Over time, satire, horror and harsh expression in Krasauskas’ graphic artwork was eclipsed by a longing for classical beauty and harmony. The most important (and often the only) means of expression in many of his works was the use of thin, precise and strict lines, rendered in white against a field of black in linoleum and wood cuts.
