Art photographer.

Born 1941 in Balbieriškis.

1960-1961 studied History at Vilnius Unversity.

1961-1965 political prisoner after participating in an event in which the banned Lithuanian flag was raised.

1972 studied photography at the University of Popular Art (Moscow) and thereafter worked as a photographer.

In 2004 was awarded with the Lithuanian National prize in Culture and Arts.

Member of Lithuanian photographers' union.

Works owned by the National Musuem of Lithuania, the Lithuanian Art Museum and by museums in France, USA, Switzerland, Japan, Australia etc.
