Born 1952 in Kaunas.

1977 graduated from the State Art Institute of Lithuania (sculpture).

Participates in exhibitions sice 1977. At 1995 Herder's Premium.

Participated in many Nordic countries bienales, in Venice bienale and in South Korea Kvangiu bienale.

Made grand sculpture projects in Berlin and Pusane (South Korea).

Received Baltic Assembly premium and Lithuanian National prize in Culture and Arts. Is a profesor in Vilnius Academy of Arts.
