  • Born 1904 in Šiauliai – died 1989 in Vilnius.

  • Studied at Kaunas School of Fine Arts in 1926–1929 and National Conservatory of Arts and Crafts and Julian Academy in Paris in 1929–1933.

  • Founder of artist group "Ars".

  • Member of the Lithuanian Artists’ Union.

  • Works owned by the Lithuanian Art Museum, M. K. Čiurlionis National Art Museum, museums in Armenia, Georgia and Russia, and private collectors in Lithuania and abroad.
